West Express Shuttle operates a door-to-door airport shuttle service between Canmore, Alberta and
Calgary International Airport (YYC). This policy explains what personal information we collect,
why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with
Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you book a shuttle we collect only what is needed to carry out that journey:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your mobile phone number
- Your pickup and drop-off addresses
- Your travel date, time and number of passengers
- Your flight number, if you provide one
- Any accessibility needs or notes you choose to tell us
We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe;
your card information goes directly to them and never reaches our systems.
Why we use it
- To carry out the journey you have booked and get to the right place at the right time
- To send you a booking confirmation and pickup reminders by email
- To send the same by SMS, only if you ticked the optional consent box when booking

- To contact you if your flight is delayed or your pickup needs to change
- To keep records of bookings and payments as required for tax and accounting
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the services
needed to run the booking, and only what those services require:
- Stripe — to process your payment securely
- Twilio — to deliver SMS confirmations and reminders, if you consented
- Google — our email and calendar are hosted with Google Workspace, so your
booking details appear in our driver schedule
- Your accommodation or booking partner — where your booking was arranged
through a hotel or property manager, we may confirm pickup details with them
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes,
currently six years under Canadian requirements. If you ask us to delete your information we will
remove anything we are not legally required to retain.
Your choices
- SMS: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately.
Your booking is unaffected — details are still sent by email.
- Access: you may ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: you may ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Deletion: you may ask us to delete your information, subject to records we
must keep by law.

Security
Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Access to booking
records is limited to the owner and drivers of West Express Shuttle.
