Our Story
West Express is a father and son shuttle service built on a simple belief: that a small business lasts not because of marketing or scale, but because of the relationships it builds. Maciej spent decades running a roofing company that thrived entirely on trust — repeat customers, word of mouth, partnerships that held for years. Maximilian grew up watching that, and when he made the move from Ontario to Canmore, he brought that same approach with him.
We don't aim to move the most people. We aim to move people well — and make the ride from the airport feel like the beginning of something worth remembering.

Maximilian moved to Canmore for the same reason most people dream about it — the mountains. After years of visiting from Ontario with his family, the pull became impossible to ignore. When his sister started a family here, that was it. He packed up and made the move west.
Before West Express, Maximilian worked in his father Maciej's roofing business — and watched it thrive. Not through big marketing campaigns or aggressive growth, but through something simpler: genuine relationships and partnerships built over time. Customers came back because they trusted the people behind the work.
That's the business Maximilian wanted to build. West Express is small by design — a father and son running every ride together, focused on making a real connection with every passenger. You might only be with us for an hour, but that hour is the start of your trip to the mountains. We want it to feel like it.

Where We Drive
We serve Canmore, Banff, Harvie Heights, Dead Man's Flats and the wider Bow Valley, with direct transfers to and from Calgary International Airport (YYC). Private charters are available across Alberta — Kananaskis, Lake Louise, golf courses, trailheads, and corporate sites.
